Garnet Cathedral Dress Brooch in Sterling Silver Gem-Ruby Swallows arrive in Orkney inThis Cathedral dress brooch in sterling silver is beautifully enhanced with an 6. 5mm garnet, set by hand in our Orkney workshop. The brooch measures approximately 50mm wide. Sheilas Garnet Cathedral collection was created for the centennial commemorations of the Battle of Jutland and incorporates a stunning red garnet. The design is based on a beautiful sandstone carving found on the east wall of St Magnus Cathedral in Orkney and thought to date to
