The stepped round barrel design requires very little tapping to form consistent loops, and half round wire will not twist, scratch, or deform during use. These pliers are especially well suited for hollow stock and patterned looping stock where protecting the surface finish is critical. The 14mm diameter barrel provides a reliable forming
