Zilveren geboortelepel, Vrede, G. van Velsen, Bolsward, 1732 1965 second grade mark and yearFrisian silver birth spoon crowned with 'Peace'. The spoon was made by the silversmith Gerard van Velzen from Bolsward. He was active from: 1721 to 1791. The spoon has a crowned horn as a maker's mark. (Voet 1974 336) Engraved on the spoon is: On February 21, Geert Jans was born in 1732. He was baptized on February 24, 1732, in Bolsward.
