Bijbel met zilveren sloten, A. Verroen, Gouda, 1829 Groningen sleek style with ornament was19th century Bible from the publisher: Dutch Bible Company in Amsterdam with permission from Petrus Meiboom in 1818. The clasp was made by the silversmith Adrianus Verroen from Gouda Schoonhoven. He worked from 1791 to 1840. He worked in Schoonhoven until 1807, when he moved to Gouda. The Bible has two silver locks. The silver clasps are hallmarked with the second grade hallmark, Minerva head of Rotterdam, date letter Q for 1825 and master mark VR.
