The clasp was made by silversmith G. Lazonder from Schoonhoven. He used this hallmark from 1816 to 1824. The bracket is marked with the master's mark L under a crown, Minerva head, date letter J for 1818 and second content mark. Below the button a village with a church tower is depicted.
