Classified as a Grand Cru in 1981 , the Clos des Lambrays boasts a historic enclosed vineyard of 8. 66 hectares, one of the oldest in Burgundy. Long owned by the Saier family and then the Freund family, it experienced a revival from the 1970s onwards thanks to extensive replanting and restructuring work.
