Gavroche - Fontaine & Figuier l'herbier peuplé de lièvres bondissants etOnce upon a time there was a garden in Provence, in this sun drenched scrubland where La grew up between the Jura and the Provenal Alpilles. At the heart of this garden unfolds a Provenal poem by Monsieur Mistral a poet among poets in this land of milk and honey. The poet, in love with his muse, depicts her as a fountain, while he himself is a fig tree growing at the source of her waters. For without love, his fruits could not ripen.
